My own training has been thorough and eclectic.
Never prepared to follow any gurus, I resisted becoming affiliated to any one organisation or way of doing things. I have trained with many of the NLP “greats”, including both of the original co creators. I did this consciously in order to expand my knowledge and not accept just one version of what NLP is or how it can be utilised.
I am a pragmatist. I like things that work. I like to see the value and practical real world application of techniques. This was a must for me when working with clients.... who had not attended courses or read books, so didn't know how they were supposed to respond!
As a result of my diverse training and extensive experience with clients over a number of years, I can provide you with a truly professional, unbiased, independent and congruent training in NLP.

After 5 years in full time private practice, in 2005 Denise devised, designed and began to deliver the Hypno-uk positive change cognitive / analytical hypnotherapy Professional Diploma courses which are independently approved and validated by The Hypnotherapy Association and The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council. Denise Collins personally leads all the Know More Training Ltd programmes. From time to time she is assisted by various visiting trainers and assistants.
"I believe it is crucial to use NLP to teach NLP. Therefore I use metaphor to introduce each aspect to be covered, then move on to an explicit frame so that the learning can be conscious as well as unconscious. I lead a discussion on practical uses of the technique or methodology eg practical applications in the real world. If appropriate I will demonstrate to the whole group using volunteers. There will then follow some form of practical exercise where trainees can have an experience of the teaching point. Usually structured in 3’s so each participant has the opportunity to be the practitioner, the client and an observer thus learning from each position. Following this there will be an open frame opportunity for questions, comments and feed back. Reference to the manual for back up and underlying methodology.
I am passionate about NLP both personally and professionally, mainly because my own introduction to the field changed my life. I enjoy the freedom of working independently yet understand and adhere to the need for accreditation and recognition to ensure that I work within an environment where I continuously strive to improve.
